Free Foam Recycling
There is no charge for recycling foam and we are open M-F, 8am - 4pm
We recycle (actually we repurpose):
- Rigid #6 plastic (which is commonly called Styrofoam).
- If it is hard to squeeze and when broken, it looks like lots of white BB’s stuck together, that’s #6 plastic (the most prevalent modern day waste material)
- Styrofoam ice chests (we love these) for frozen food or pharmaceuticals
- Shipping and packing material
- Stucco and Sign companies’ cutoffs
- All things #6, regardless of color
What we can’t take:
- Packing peanuts (these are not #6 plastic), flat plates and cups, take out containers, meat trays, foam egg cartons, spongy foam material, different numbered plastics.
- We are a block manufacturer and the foams we can’t take do not grind well in our industrial grinders and we can’t risk food contamination to our mix.
- We are open M-F, 8-4. If we are not open, or you have a lot of foam, there are metal bins in the back of our building (behind our dumpster) that you can drop off foam if we are not in the building.
- Please call if you have questions.
- Please come in and see us and take a tour.
